Same reason you hands watch kids play college and nfl football. Also the same reason you watch high school football. Probably the same reason you visit the recruiting board

Jason Peters was offered by LSU, but towards the end of the recruitment period / signing day it turned into a gray shirt. That was in 2007.

Was at Catholic during this time, and the way I remember it LSU wasn't after Jason all that seriously. He made a good call by going to Georgia Tech.

Which is why I said LSU offered him, but turned it into a gray shirt. He supposedly gave LSU his verbal in late January a few weeks before signing day. Then retracted that because it was a gray shirt. And went to GA Tech. Smart move by both LSU and Peters.

How about kentucky pulling broha's offer? I can understand schools not offering because they don't see his potential, but uk had a commit from a future nfl player and told him he wasn't good enough.

Im real good friends with Broha and his family. The coaching change had a LOT to do with it. Broha loved their DC, Coach Archer. He was his recruiter as well and they were really tight. He left and they hired Rich Brooks, who for some reason just didnt like Broha that much and tentatively offered him a gray shirt, almost as a consolation. Broha said screw that and went to La Tech where he had a great career.
That coach flat out pulled RB Henry Minors offer from UK, and he was already a verbal commit. He pulled it like a week before NSD too.
Coach Weiner was pissed about both, but even more so with Henrys because he didnt have that many offers / other options. And Brooks came out and said something along the lines of "Minor wasnt academically eligible", when he was. Weiner basically told Brooks to not come back.
Broha is currently a FA and has been going to a good bit of workouts for teams. Jeremy Stewart, the other RB besides Minor who went to Stanford, is still in the league and is on the Raiders 53man roster. And is a big time special teams player for them. Played really well last year.

I'll get pumped up when I see he's a Tiger. Until then, not letting myself get caught up in recruiting guarantees this year.

And Rueben Randle threw up the U, Chi Dupre gave his visit to Fla State a perfect 10, Fournette was talking Bama during a camp with Bama commits.
Lay off Guice. He isn't dogging LSU. He is talking up different suitors. Talking noise on an Internet forum won't help, and just make people look like scorned b*tches.
Save the disdain for special cases like Janzen Jackson, Collins etc, who purposefully led LSU on the screw us over
