Hope he has nerves of steel! Can't imagine what it must be like to have to kick a game winning field goal with 100,000+ people screaming against you. Hope he's a kid who wants the ball when the game is on the line! Good to know we're getting a good one.

Not sure whose strategy it is-Miles or Peveto- but it's definitely our ST philosophy. I understand why to a degree. With all our athletes, we should be able to kick it to the goal line- stay in our lanes- and make the tackle shy of the 20. Giving us a yardage advantage on kickoffs. Didn't work out a lot this year.

So I guess you're the father of an aspiring kicker. I wish your son the best. Just be weary of the predators out there like Chris Sailer who will blow smoke up your arse about how much potential your son has to get a scholarship if you keep spending tons of money on his camps and coaching.

Trust me. I know ALL about these guys. Seems like there is a new kicking guru camp popping up each year. Of them all Jamie Khol probably runs the better organization. I tell people to find a good one on one coach and if you are gonna pay for some of the national camps just do so for getting stats recorded for recruitment
