Does Calipari coach at LSU, now? Why isn't this on Kentucky Recruiting?

He's being recruited by LSU, a national recruit, and he's a hometown kid. No reason to be a smartass to OP

Don't like seeing more publicity for Kentucky Basketball or Alabama Football, didn't mean to sound like an A-Hole.

we need to shamelessly get our bagmen to camp out at his front door. Smart would swing the momentum for instate recruiting for a long time

LSU has a bag man? I guess with the F. King/ Alleva admin, it's a small Ziplok sandwich bag.

Wait...you think a kid being recruited by other schools besides LSU and being discussed here is publicity? Too much publicity? Bad publicity? If a kid is being recruited by LSU, trust me, he's being recruited by all the big schools. Mentioning it here is not publicity

I'm willing to help out with the recruitment of this guy. I'll bring the bags of money.

The question is does he get a Kentucky offer.

If he does, I don't think we can get him.

If he doesn't, I think LSU is the favorite.

What I heard tonight is he really likes Wade, and he really likes Heiar. If they close the deal and get Chatman in here he has a really good relationship with him as well.

All of which is fine but it doesn't outweigh Kentucky's prestige. So let's hope Calipari decides he likes another guy better, and gets a commitment or two from Romeo Langford or Immanuel Quigley or Quentin Grimes.

I doubt he'll end up becoming a legend with only playing one year

JaVonte is really really really good, but he's also certainly not a lock to be a one and done at this rate.

Heiar kind of reminds me of one of my old coaches. Every pic I've seen he is pounding a Red Bull pregame.

He is not a one and done player, and guys want to play for someone who will help them make the NBA, winning a championship is last.

Hopefully he'll make the Smart decision and take his talents to LSU. What is he wanting to major in?
