i think it's bullshite that they gave him Mr. Basketball over Mitch... especially since he's a junior and had already gotten it once

It is not a zero sum game.
Why shouldn't LSU recruit Javonte Smart as hard as possible unless and until he signs elsewhere. What do they lose by doing so? You never know what can happen for any number of reasons.
There are many valid reasons he would sign with LSU. Lets pursue all of those angles and see what happens.

Shoot we probably don't even get there. Our seed is probably in the teens bc we lose some more games, and we fall in the second round or quarters

I don't think you realize how good javonte is. He is much better than mitch. That scotlandville team without him is average at best. He makes players around him better. Yall have him, y'all shut down tj and probably recruit a big man to battle jt

Javonte might be good, but he's a better version of players you always see... the point is, no one had a Mitch and there won't be another kid like him with his size and talent for a decade or more.
we'll see about Scotlandville being average when he leaves lol... meanwhile i hope we're average next season
i'm expecting bad, like lose to Grace King bad, bc that's what we did the last game before Mitch came

i was at boo williams hampton all day sat and wade watched all of j smarts games. spoke to coach briefly and am convinced we will be winning big and soon. i also spoke to greg williams dad for 30 min and he said j. smart and greg are very interested in the tigers, but they still have to sort through what each school offers.
