It will be a crazy numbers game come signing day if all these kids jump on board. It will be around 30 I imagine

Can't sign more than 28 due to the Houston Nutt rule implemented by the SEC.

**Here is the deal, just let things play out with Snoop Brassell and CJ Johnson as both want to make their announcement on signing day for now.

Just sit back and relax and read between the ole lines:). Both were leaders amongst the pack with Donte, TJ, Jamal, Bell, and Morris.

All things being equal, Ole Miss might win out but things are not equal and if CJ wants to play for championships, he will come to LSU. If he wants to stay closer to home then its Ole Miss.

You can if you use backcounters. Auburn signed 32 or something last year using back counters.

Only one person can count back now. I'm almost 100% sure that is the rule now. It is one reason LSU was forced to offer Porter a greyshirt, as it screwed us over because the rule was implemented right before the season started...I think...

He can go to a school that has never been to Atlanta, the only school in the West, or he can come to a program that competes for titles.

If the best scoop that Yancy can offer is a supposition about reading between the lines, you have to feel good about LSU's chances. The most important thing is to get CJ in for a visit next weekend and put on the full court press. He is a perfect fit for this defense at a position of great need for a championship caliber team.

I'll ask about the rule but as far as i know the rule is still dependent on how many spots a school has left from the previous years class. Also dependent on how many under 85 the school is.Only 85 can be active on the roster at any point. This rule is why USC has so many commits and why they took some of the JCs and kickers they took. They have 9 backcounters.

Per Neal McCready today:

I just talked to him. I'll put up a story shortly. Ole Miss sounds like a major leader at this point. He said he wasn't sure if he was going to visit LSU or not.

Yancy is such a douche.

Anyone recall his "davenport is telling everyone he wants to leave La. " stories?

Your boy Yancy spent 6 to 9PM on Friday getting ready for his one year olds birthday party, then went out to a college bar in Oxford so he could spy on recruits and rank their dancing ability. Not creepy at all.

I guess all of the students aren't back from break yet since its not as hype as normal but its starting to get packed although not as fiya as it has been before."
