Agree. I like the Dunn hire, I like what we have coming back, I think LSU is a great sell all by itself, and PM can win. I just don't want to see us burn any recruiting bridges, especially with a program like Barbe.

Quinn was at LSU football camp last week so there is obviously interest there. A little off subject but what where the circumstances when C Cooley was drafted in early first rounds and passed that up to come to LSU?

I think it is pretty stupid if PM ends up burning bridges with Barbe considering the talent that comes out of there. Don't they have some studs on the horizon after this year too?

I don't remember Cooley's situation exactly, but he was drafted somewhere around the 10th round plus or minus a round or two coming out of high school. Probably not drafted as high as he wanted and the signing bonus not as high? He had some very good years at LSU but I don't think he got drafted higher coming out of LSU than he did in high school.

Tigersportsdigest said Quinn looked good at LSU football camp, but Fournette is the only 2014 guy to get an LSU offer as far as I know.

Freshman WR 2014 at Barbe, plays CF in baseball too. Google Trey Quinn and you will see football highlights on YouTube as well as LLWS stuff. I think his football highlights are on Scout and Rivals too.

Got a while for this guy, focused on closing out 2012 and a little on 2013 now!

That encourages "hot doggin".......If they were 1/2 as good as they THINK they are, they'd never lose a game.

Well 5 state titles and 7 appearances in the final game in the last 13 years is pretty solid I'd have to say.

Isn't Dorion the guy at Tulane that had shoulder issues causing Sock Jones to speak out about his over use at Barbe?

I just can't see how dissing the head coach of the best baseball program in Louisiana is in ANYWAY helpful to LSU. Are they just inept in the baseball department or was this intentional? Either answer isn't very good.
