im pretty sure trent had a similar stance on braids and stuff like that, i know stringer chopped his hair off before getting on campus. pretty sure he scrapped that in order to land JOB and hickey though.

he was committed to us as a soph. i think, then started looking around after brady got let go and he started to get more looks as a football prospect.

you mentioned Ocie Conley... He was a prop 48 casualty but became elegible later. I will never forget at our first team meeting, we all sitting down listening to Coach talk and Greg passes out the pocket size schedules ( this was WAY before internet) Coach goes on to reading over a few topics and everyone is reading the pocket size schedule that Greg just passed out. After Coach finishes up talking he ask "does anyone have any questions?"

Shawson Johnson was definitely the cornrow guy. I think the story went something like Brady told him to cut his hair numerous times before the season and he never did. So Brady didn't let him play in the first exhibition game and he quit.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned him yet, but whatever happened to Regis Koundija. I remember thinking when we got him he was going to dominate.
