whatever happened to dj wright? was coming to lsu then followed nikita to la tech (as did magnum rolle) but had to go to JUCO first or something then i just lost track. thought it'd be cool to discuss the whereabouts of former recruits and/or players.

Yep and both lead to Capel's ouster. Both head cases I think.

Wright at some school in Canada last year

From some other Canadian site:

quote:

The wandering career of DJ Wright came full circle this past winter when he played a semester of basketball for Algoma University in Sault Ste. Marie. Even though Wright was not in great shape, he was still arguably the best player in the league at twenty-five years of age. We have drawn the ire of some readers of this column before for chronicling his odyssey through a number of high school prep programs and junior colleges. Wright has always been long on basketball skills but has always come up short in the classroom. By slowly easing himself in the OCAA he may be able to parlay this into a pro career in Europe. Time is definitely running out for this young man. Hopefully he can use his basketball ability to make a living over the next few years.

Tommy Mason-Griffin plays for Ratiopharm Ulm in Germany.

I believe Tack was playing in the UK a couple years back.

I thought of Koundjia earlier this weekend. I was watching a documentary about how easy it is to bribe your way to becoming a diplomat in the Central African Republic (as a way to get immunity in the blood diamond trade), and he popped into my mind since he was from CAF and his dad was a former diplomat before he was murdered.

It looks like he's playing in the lower leagues of the French basketball league. Some of the team names don't show up on Wikipedia and one is in the second division currently.

Posting on the MSB all the time?

Honestly, I have no clue what Earl is doing these days. Did he even go abroad?
