He is one hell of a walk on candidate, but he does not deserve a scholarship to LSU.
He is definitely good enough to play at other D-1 schools around the country, but he is not at the elite level needed to play at LSU in this era.

Well thats the decision that he alone has to make.
Whether he would like to have the honor of wearing the purple and gold and walking on (I think he would get TOPS), but not receiving an athletic scholarship.
Or....he can go elsewhere to play on an athletic scholarship.

yea. i hope he stays in the SEC. he is a lot better than what he showed this season. Our uhigh recievers made him not able to show his true potential.

Yeah, I agree with you about Barrett Bailey. I don't think he will get a scholarship to any SEC school (maybe Vandy, but that still seems doubtful).
He is definitely good enough to get a scholarship somewhere (probably in the C-USA or Sun Belt). So the question is really whether he would like to be a preferred walk-on at LSU or take a scholarship to a lesser program. I would take the preferred walk-on spot if I was in his shoes, unless I could get an offer from a good academic D-1 school (Tulane, Vandy, Duke, Rice, Wake Forest) or a good financial aid package from the Ivy League.
I don't know if he has the grades or test scores for that route, though.
