Thread on rant discussing. I won't rehash here.

However, with Kiir committed, that now still leaves one available.

I predict at least two more.

There had been a bunch of talk that he would like to stay but his family is in desperate need of money.

One more year for for a bigger pay day.

Momma must be in bad shape to pass on that.

A year with wade could greatly effect his draft status. He would be a fool to go now.

Blakeney's mom is broke as shite.

Even if he goes to Europe, he still makes decent money for his family:

There's really no reason for Elbert Robinson to still be on the roster. That sounds absolutely terrible, but seriously can we please find a decent 4-year recruit or grad transfer for his spot?

Mother needs to become an adult and not force decisions on her son because of her situation. What kind of mother forces a child out of a free education and a chance to become better under a real coach just because she is too lazy to support herself. Work two jobs, work three. Do what you have to.

Maybe it's his decision and he's tired of seeing his mom struggle. Although I think he has a slim chance of being drafted and should return, don't act like his mom is forcing him to do this.

Don't be a shithead. You don't know anything about his mother.

How do you know she doesn't?

How do you know she does? I watched his videos prior to coming to LSU. Dude has 4K worth of Jordans in his closet as a HS senior

I don't, that's why I won't comment on her since you're just making an awful accusation based on complete ignorance of her life.

Blakeney's mom is an ex-military LPN who works long hours in elderly care and has raised two kids on one income.

Don't think she's the one here who "needs to become an adult."

He played AAU with a Nike team and played in a ton of events, that's one way to get a bunch of merch. I'm also sure LSU (like every other school in the country) gave him a little spending money and free shite.

He should return, because if he ends up a 1st round pick he will get a much bigger pay day than being a D leaguer, but if his family is desperate, you can't blame him for trying.

Sounds like she shouldn't be so broke then. There are tons of pro athletes that came from poor families who didn't let it mess with their career
