I appreciate Nuss and if he’s the starter I can get behind it.
Although, If we have the opportunity to land a KJ Jefferson or say Noah Fifita from Arizona you take those guys 10 times outta 10.
Some people feel Nuss should automatically be the starter because he’s stuck it out here. My question would be why would you blindly give him that when there may be a better option?

You have to add a QB in portal but that will be hard to do with the expectation that they will be a backup or if you bring in someone like a KJ Jefferson than Nuss is probably out as well.
LSU is one play away from being very inexperienced at the position next season. Collins redshirted this year and Hurley reclassified and I don't think will be a viable option and will likely need to redshirt.

Well Noah Fifita is a better QB than Garrett Nussmier so you would be turning down a better player for the soul reason that Nussmier has stuck around LSU.

you bring in the best you can...let them compete. if thats Nuss that end up winning great...if not...he can leave if he wants.
