Are we expecting any more commits before NSD?

I realize sometimes people ask about who will commit next, but I'm curious with it being so close to NSD, if we are expecting any more commits before NSD this year? If anyone has that gut feeling, or rather some personal knowledge, that someone may commit.

Personally, I think they (whomever they may be) will just wait until national signing day, considering some of the people left that we have a shot at. Right now I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve. I'm so ready for NSD and can't wait to see who we end up with for a final class. So I apologize if this is a dumb question, just trying to get some discussion going.

Hope everyone enjoys this next week and beyond and

I kind of figured that. Was trying to think back to previous years and the weeks before and if anyone committed, but who am I kidding, I can't remember that far back.

Too tired to go dig through all the sites. About to shut it down.

ETA - Tune in tomorrow and I'll dig up any prospects that pulled the trigger in the last week but before NSD, if anyone's interested.

I suppose it's possible that someone like Scott could decide on the official and commit, but I dont expect anyone to.

Thanks for the feedback fellas. I guess it's what I pretty much expected. I just can't remember if we've had very many commits in the last week before NSD. I guess the kids that wait this long are waiting for a reason, either they are still unsure, or they have something worked out with one of the TV stations to commit on air.

6 Days. In those 6 days is my birthday and NSD. Not sure which one I am more excited for.

Birthday's get old, NSD is way more exciting

Even in light of the Maryland academics argument, I'm feeling good about Scott's visit this weekend and am praying he gets swayed enough to give us some excitement before NSD.

I think everyone knew he was going to LSU, but he didn't officially commit until signing day.

I'm 29 and I know I'm getting old because I'm starting to look forward to NSDs over my bdays.

And happy early bday to you. Hopefully, Les and Co. will have a few more presents for you.

Turned 41 yesterday. Didn't realize it was my birthday until phone started ringing. Lol.

Signing day is way more exciting.

It really doesn't look like LSU will be landing anybody else prio to NSD at this point

Signing day has been my favorite day for years, along with opening day of deer season.

That seems like the only possibility. Most have national signing day announcements.

You would think with Scott being a QB he would give staff a heads up so they could potentially make other plans. Good thing is his last visit is with us.

I wouldn't put anything past the recruiting aces we have on this staff. I mean, if I remember correctly, Valentine-Okeke came out of left field. At the time, I had heard Nothing as far as him coming here and then BOOM!! This is going to be a very exciting next few days. I'm like a kid on Christmas. Enjoy the ride, Fellas

Add in:
-signing with the #1 and potentially greatest all-time class (most top 100, 247, 300, etc)
-being a teammate with Fournette for his final and potential Heisman season
-likely Top 5 team with 18 returning starters and senior-laden experienced team to help teach the ropes
-excitement for Aranda's scheme
-south LA cooking & women

Yeah... likely just enough to help tip one or two "surprises" our way this Wed!
