I think it was Arch that was wearing the LSU gear at the end of the SEC storied but I could be wrong.

Kiffin has trouble staying in good graces with the schools that hire him. He can't keep his nose clean, if you will.

I think we have as good a shot as anyone at Arch. It will really depend how the QB room is managed before he gets here, both the on field product (who plays, what we do with them, how they do, who stays, etc) and the recruiting. 2023 is ripe with QBs. I know it seems like a certainty that he will, but Arch may not even develop into our top target.

Weve got a good shot. Depends on how the offense looks next year and how the offensive staff recruits him. We could do the best possible job recruiting and lose him also. He's gonna pick his school so competition will be stiff. Walker Howard/Max Johnson/Nussmeier may make our efforts more complicated.

Who would have ever thought LSU would have a shot at some above average, dare I say great QB talent. I think the dog days of shitty LSU QBs post Flynn pre #9 are over.

I’ve got to say that was a very disappointing click.

quote:

Arch Manning details how Ed Orgeron's LSU program caught his eye early on during his recruitment

Details? Which details? He shook his hand first and said hello during a period when no dialogue is supposed to occur???

quote:

The Isidore Newman quarterback from New Orleans recently shared this bit of information with Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports:

The first coach that made a visit to Isidore Newman to see Arch was LSU’s Ed Orgeron and it came after the National Championship game two years ago. While NCAA rules don’t allow coaches to have dialogue with prospects during that time, Orgeron was the first coach to see Arch in person and shake his hand and say hello. With Joe Burrow exhausting his eligibility a couple days prior, Orgeron had already turned a keen eye to Manning for the long-term future. LSU also has a couple of Manning’s teammates committed in 2022 recruits Bo Bordelon and AJ Johnson.

Sorry, but this is clickbait crap.

I fully expected that this thread was going to be a gif or a link to a video of young tyke Arch saying “LSU” from the “Book of Manning.”

Look, if Archie Manning doesn’t like Kiffin as coach at ole Miss, his alma matte, he will have his job. That simple. He makes a couple of calls gets who he wants to coach his grandson and game over. This young man grew up with people who hate LSU. IMany of us have lived it. We watched Archie take his talent out of state and LSU spank his arse. His sons then go out of state as well. Guys I would love for this young man to come to LSU. I wanted his dad at LSU but these folks just don’t like or care for their state U. They have the means to have several good college teams, sec teams hire and fire who they want to see that this young man gets what they know as great coaching. I would be skeptical even if he committed.
