I scanned the other thread and I don't think there are any? People are hinting at Pat Swilling Jr.

People are assuming Swilling, but nothing has been announced, officially or unofficially.

LSU will get Coleman if Johnny wants him. If Coleman goes elsewhere, it will be because Jones passed. I don't think that will happen.

Yes, but apparently the way to do things, if you have no association with LSU, is to keep saying what you want and it will come true

Hey Bubba, can we pass on players at this point? We need players, but would it be better to get two players this year and three next year after CJJ can recruit some guys? Or do we just need to get who we can get and ride it out for a few years?

I don't agree with passing on him. I was just talking hypothetically. I dont think LSU will pass on him.

Jones has already said he will pass...He knows we need numbers but doesn't want us in a situation where we've made a commitment to an inferior player simply for numbers.

We are speaking specifically about Coleman, and Jones has already told him that his offer is good -- that LSU wants him. His is going on a midweek visit to Oregon State. I expect him to commit to LSU by the weekend.

But, yes, he did say he would pass on inferior players.

he said he will take at least one more visit but is still high on LSU. nothing wrong with a kid taking all his visits. He visited LSU, texas tech and OU already. I actually think its a good sign that a kid takes all his visits. that way when he compares them to LSU there will be no comparison and he will realize that Tiger Town is the place for him !
