You heard him. Either Auburn or LSU. Hope it's the latter.

Just from reading the full report, it sounds like UCLA could actually be a threat. Living in LA and going to a school that just put Anthony Barr, Eric Kendricks, and Myles Jack in the league is a good recruiting tool. I still think he stays down south and plays in the SEC though. Just wouldn't absolutely blow me away if he went out west.

Recruits love to say this at almost every place. Don't read too much into it.

Is there anything to the rumor Bama quit recruiting him due to something he did while enrolled at IMG?

Bama might have quit recruiting him, but I highly doubt it's for anything off the field. I mean those are the same guys who signed serial woman beater Jonathan Taylor a year ago, and allowed back a player from JUCO that THEY kicked off a year before for beating up students for snacks.

If you can play, they'll make the off the field stuff disappear.

No man. Apparently bama stopped recruiting him bc he got caught dealing drugs. That's the narrative now. It's ridiculous. No proof or anything. just that he got caught dealing pot. In the meantime, cam robinson and hootie jones can get caught by an officer at a park in monroe with dope and a stolen gun in their vehicle yet get off clean. It's sad. I hope he signs with lsu.

kinda like IF some players were to be caught with weed and a stolen gun in a closed park.

Exactly. Did you see how defensive saban got at sec media days over that shite? Doesn't matter to me but don't slander a high school kid and name dope as the reason you stop recruiting him when you have proven facts of current members of your team doing that and worse. It's really laughable.

He is not fast at all and plays a little stiff. But he can sure as hell run a stunt and delay blitz. He is definitely a run stopper and controls the interior. Plus he can shed blocks.

Just needs to loosen up and play faster in SEC. But he is a big hitter and is a good player. I think he is solid college player but own college.

The article pretty much tells me he's going to Auburn. He wants his mom and sister to able to see every game that's not possible if he commits to LSU. Just saying. But I'm hopeful that he's willing to commit with LSU. He would fit perfect in this system as a run stuffer.

So far, it looks like someone just made shite up. There could be some truth to it, but I have yet to see any legitimate source suggesting it was drug dealing. Considering where this rumor is coming from, I personally wouldn't put much stock into it.

Impossible, Bama doesn't even discipline players when they have proof including illegal guns to go along with the drugs so they would never not recruit a player for something like this.

LSU and Bama both have plenty of players that have had multiple run ins with the law. The culture of players these days makes them believe they are above the law. Saban often quits recruiting players he thinks he is not going to get to save face and be able to say he just didn't want them.

He sees a loss here so he is moving on.
