Recruits love to say this at almost every place. Don't read too much into it.

Well that's weird, because almost all the guys that committed could not emphasize feeling at home with LSU more than any other team.. Look at Brennan, then look at as recent as Vincent Jr. He said the whole feeling at home/family was huge with LSU..

Do you have a recent quote of Ignont stating another school feels at home?

Did he say UCLA feels at home? I am genuinely asking.

I mean it's still a good thing they feel at home.. should mean you have a chance I would imagine..

Any ways, from what I have seen in the past with Ignont, he really has a love for LSU going on. I think he really admires Aranda as well.

The article pretty much tells me he's going to Auburn. He wants his mom and sister to able to see every game that's not possible if he commits to LSU. Just saying. But I'm hopeful that he's willing to commit with LSU. He would fit perfect in this system as a run stuffer.

I don't understand how the article told you this.

quote:

"I grew up always thinking I'd go to LSU or Auburn," he said. "It would be big for my mom and sister to be able to make it to every game. Those are the two people that mean the most to me, not to mention my aunt and cousins. LSU is like home to me. I've got family in Louisiana and my mom is from Winnsboro.

First off, he said it would be big for them to make the games.. not an absolute must make every game.

He then mentions the rest of his family.. while noting he has family in Louisiana and his own mother is from Louisiana..

He also didn't say LSU feels like home, he said LSU is like home. I find a difference in that and typical recruit talk.

As I mentioned, he really seems to like LSU a ton. Not sure if he will eventually be pressured to stay in the state of Alabama. I found it weird how he addressed UA, as if he was expected to just go there..

I just went over the entire article, which was also posted on Al.com, so it wasn't just edited to look pro-LSU..

He goes on to say

LINK

He doesn't compare any of the other schools to home..

Good point. I'm hopeful like I said. I think with his mom and sister being in Alabama he most likely to go Auburn imo. But we'll find out soon. Isn't he commuting before the start of his senior season?
