Been wondering some of this as well. Here are a couple of links from the Cal media that shine a little light on him. Evidently he had a bad knee injury last year (torn ACL and Meniscus) but is rehabbed and ready to play this year. He was very happy with Krags and was very happy to ge t committed early. We should see how he does with the knee this year.
Before he got hurt he threw for 530 yds and six TDs in one game on 30 of 47 attempts...

After watching that kid on the Elite 11 shows all weekend, just a mess. Mentally fragile, doesn't look like he works out at all, just came off bad in the Dilfer look-ins from last Summer.
