Might as well start a new thread.

Ummmm. This is changing.

I did see that the first two games. We threw the ball 30 to 35 times each game

Someone called Brett Farve might disagree with you that Brennan is the best to ever come out of the state. Most highly rated in the state coming out of high school? Maybe

Brett Favre and Myles Brennan actually know each other. Brett Favre might actually agree that Myles is better.

Brennan was kinda late to the recruiting scene being from Mississippi. If he played in a better state or team he would have been a 5 star. IMO.

I still want fields. Never have to many qbs.

Sometimes people totally miss the point of statistics. They look at the wrong stat when trying to assess a qbs potential at the next level. You don't look at how many yards a qb threw for you look at the number of passes he threw compared to the number of completions. You look at the number of tds thrown compared to the number of interseptions. In a QB like Brennan one can conclude that since he threw 1500 passes in a game situation and completed almost 1000 of them for 166 tds to only 25 ints that he certainly has proven he knows how to throw the ball accurately and often. And another 5000 passes thrown in 4 years of practice. How does another qb possibly gain that type of experience throwing the ball if they did not do it in HS? And I don't care if it was flag football you cannot gain that type of experience throwing the ball unless you have done it. That is why he is where he is on the LSU depth chart, Canada is going to throw the ball A LOT very soon. If Brennan went to someplace like GA Tech he would sit the bench but if he went to Ole Miss his production would be exactly that of Paterson. He's use to throwing the ball 45 times a game. And it's coming to TS soon.

How did he make it obvious he was wide open?

He told our coaching staff that due to the situations at UGA, FSU, AU, and UF he's reconsidering things. Before Fromm took over for Eason, Francois got hurt, and Stidham started struggling his chances of being a day one starter were only a little worse than they were at LSU. Now it's looking like all three of those schools will have established starters next year. This has changed how he's looking at all schools involved. At least that's what was communicated to our coaching staff.

No problem man. Also let me clarify that I'm not saying LSU leads or that he's a stone cold lock or any of that BS. It's ludicrous to say anything like that at this point. But given the fact we couldn't even get this kid on the phone a month and a half ago, LSU has to be extremely happy with the way things are progressing.

The staff likes the position we're in with Fields. That being said nobody knows who leads or where he's going.

It's recruiting, he could commit to Strayer University tomorrow. He was trying to wait until after his season was over but his team has started out 1-2 so maybe he'll get it out of the way sooner.
