With the way Stidham has looked so far he will most likely return another year instead of entering the draft. That essentially means UGA, FSU, and Auburn will have returning starters at QB.

Take this for what it's worth. I asked Coach O, after the game how the visit with Fields went and O said that he had a good feeling.

It was nice to hear even if this is what a coach is supposed to say when asked a question like this.

All I ever do is interject reasonable thought into the crazy world of college football recruiting. I am not personally connected to any one player but just like many of you I am emotionally connected to one and that is Brennan. I have been involved in MS football for a long time and I am here to tell you that Brennan is the best QB ever to come out of this state and maybe the south east. Just My educated Personal opinion of course. I only want the best players to play at LSU and on any football field for that matter. I would think any coach or any fan at any level would only want the best player playing at every position. I am just saying Brennan will prove to everyone to be all that is advertised and will be the future LSU QB. Now I was just stating what I know of how young men think about recruiting and possible play time being an important factor why would any HS senior look at the potential of the two highly touted true freshmen at LSU and say to himself, yeah now there's the path of least resistance to play time.. it has nothing to do with the reality of competition it has all to do with the perception by the recruit of the competition.

You think Brennan might be the best qb to come out of the SE? Dude, there are three high schoolers right now in Ga who are better and two underclassmen who will be better.

Timmy Byrd and Stan Humphries were Myles Brennan also and they could not make it at LSU

I'm not trying to dampen your enthusiasm but Bret Favre came from the next town over.

How do you know?. Nobody has even seen what Brennan can do because he hasn't even taken a meaningful snap and your already saying shite like that?. Talk about a quick judgement.

Brennan is the real deal. Fields is a difference maker the minute he steps on campus. Home run threat with his feet and arm on any play. I think Brennan is our starter for the next 2 years barring injury and that's not a bad thing. Lsu can win a NC with Myles Brennan at qb.

Oh, but it's cool to say he may be the best qb to ever come out of the southeast? And there is plenty of film of him in high school. Plus, the other three in Ga are all ranked considerably higher than he was.

Don't care who starts but when did we become university of one qb. Competition gets the best qb.

He did pretty damn well at NLU, especially in 1987.

His high school stats are pretty high. I bet they are higher than your Georgia boys.

I mean Brennan was a top 100 prospect and part of the elite 11. It's not like he was some no name recruit.

That dude ain't going to LSU

Dude and his mom got a free trip and he gave the recruiting people lip service so he didn't come across as a jackass

He more than likely isn't coming. He wouldn't have even visited with the former staff though

You really want to compare the stats of someone playing in Mississippi against someone playing in Georgia? Those aren't exactly level playing fields.

You sure about that?

I'm not saying he's not a great qb, I'm just saying it's a little early to label the guy as the best qb to ever come out of the southeast.
