One positive of him coming this week is that he will get the majority of the attention from the staff. A bigger game would bring other big time recruits that would need love and attention too.

Also I think the staff can spend more time with him showing him the offense and how he would be used, instead of preparing for a big game. For big game weekends, not only is time short, with more recruits, I doubt specific explanations of schemes can be rolled out for each - but here it can.

Without reading any articles I'm guessing either his HS team has a bye week or their game was cancelled. No matter what this is a huge positive for LSU.

Honestly wonder if this happens. Do they run 50+ times with the #1 qb in the country on campus watching? We obviously won't need to open the playbook, so I guess this will be a real measure of how bad they want Fields
