The two schools he's narrowed it down to are complete opposites. If he picks the other, then I don't think he's flippable.

We are focusing on a few key recruits, that is why we will "waste our time" on a player like Willis who might be a long-shot. Louisiana is looking to have a very nice crop of talent next class so if we fail to fill a few spots while aiming for top talent it just leaves us with room to back-count next year.
The real question should not be "why waste our time?" but rather why waste a spot on anything but a top target at this point?

To me it would seem like burns because on 247 I think we r listed as a cold interest so basically it's like he's keeping the door open for us

And him committing to UCLA with LSU visiting shortly after is nothing new in recruiting. Stop looking so hard into it. LSU will do whatever they can to sway his commitment if they want him bad enough. Could be a courtesy from Willis and his family too.
