Sounds to me like he's already informed the LSU staff of his intentions and they're attempting a last ditch effort
Are we really to believe that Priest has told our staff that he's going to commit to UCLA, and that his commitment is final, yet they're still going to go all the way out there with limited recruited time left to try to talk him out of that a few days after he makes the announcement?

Well, there are plenty of reasons in hopes they can sway him. Class is nearly done, not a lot of kids left that they're willing to talk to. Outside of talking to the 10 or so kids they want to walk-on, what else can do they do recruiting wise?

He's clearly stated, without being asked or provoked, that his decision tomorrow is final. We have like 2 weeks left to go after another safety (PW has S written all over him). This is all very important, because we don't want to run out of time in securing another talent, presumably from outside the state, if he's picking UCLA.
If we're really planning an in-home with him 4 days after he firmly announces his choice, then that would appear to indicate that he's picking LSU tomorrow.

I believe that, too...I really do. But, after the way this has all played out with him visiting, not committing during the visit, allegedly being a deal with Goodman, and with him purposely saying that tomorrow's decision is final, a visit from our staff 4 days after he announces UCLA with a slot for safety still vacant for this class would seem like a waste of resources to me.
The soon-to-be commitment of Paris in next year's class does throw me off here a bit, though. The staff may be thinking of going all out on Priest and simply not taking another safety if they can't turn him.

I know there are many factors that go into choosing a school for these kids but to me having the head coach and his staff that recruited me stay at the school my whole time I'm there would be at the top of the list. Stupid for anyone to choose ucla when Jim morals name has been link to nfl head coaching jobs this off-season. Imo Jim Mora is one of those nfl guys that is only coaching college till he get another chance to jump back to the nfl level.

This late in the game our staff would not waste their time going out there if it wasn't good news for us...we have too many other guys to see with so little time left. Just my opinion

If Priest picks UCLA tomorrow, I hope our staff focuses on the next in line instead of going out there on Monday.
