Yep, far too early to be concerned about MLB possibilities.

Then you can say its far to early to be concerned about college possibilities. The kid has possibilities to do both. How high in the draft will determine which route he goes

As his uncle, I can tell you first hand he is not only an athlete but a well rounded player that plays several psns, and plays them all very well. Very versatile and adapts well. You have the real deal here.

Thanks for the update. I saw he did pretty well at the Tournament of Stars. Quite an accomplishment since he was one of only a handful of 2019 kids competing primarily with 2018s and some 2017s even.

Looks like he made the USA Baseball 17U Player Development roster. Congrats to him.

Two other LSU commits, Cade Doughty and Christian Cairo, also made that team.

I really wish people would stop saying this shite in every single fricking baseball recruiting thread.
They're just trying to feel knowledgeable. This page might be all they have.

So he might make it to campus?

But he might not make it to campus?

I heard that Cabrerra turned down close to 2 million?? If that is true that's just crazy and kind of awesome all rolled into 1?!?! Either way glad to have him here...no doubt will be a day 1 starter for LSU in 18!

Wish we could've gotten Jacob Pearson if anything his bat & speed alone... Difference maker.

If he's that big and athletic at SS and with that power as a sophomore? Barring injury, he's probably got a better chance of going #1 overall than ending up in college. Good luck to him, though. Will be interesting to see how he develops.

Sounds like a stud. Hope he fulfills his dream whether that's LSU or MLB, hopefully both. You mention him playing other positions, what is he being projected to play down the road? At 6'3 195 as a sophomore he's probably going to outgrow SS.

It's annoying but so true, sadly.
Hate to even know or see baseball recruits because of this. Only can get excited about kids that are good, but not too good. How sad is that?

Spot on Lesnar. He just made the cut from 80 to 40 for the U18 National team playing a lot of 3rd base, alongside 2018 Tiger commit, Brice Turang. Also, heading to the Under-Armour All American Game in late July. Only 16, still growing and refining skills. Staying healthy is key.
