Given his 14 year old size, he might outgrow the QB position and become a tackle prospect!

Are you a football coach? Did your son's uncles both play NFL ball? Does he have other relatives surrounding him with coaching/elite experience?

This is fricking ridiculous. He's in 8th grade......first year of junior high!

Sorry if I'm being too practical.

I am as cynical as anyone. But how can anyone down this signing ?

He sounds like he loves LSU.

Plus with his size, he is basically grown. He could get bigger yeah, but he is already strong, big, and has the physical tools. Since he doesn't have to wait around for the physical stuff, he will have five more years of learning the game and coverages. He will probably attend some camps and he will eventually play at the higher level and go against tougher competition.

If he works now on the mental part of the game and learns the position x and o's and concepts, he will have a future that could go way way beyond LSU.

He is showing a lot of great throws on those hudl highlights linked on page 3 or so. It isn't like he is playing running back and got big before everyone else. He is making great throws and able to chunk it at that.

...because his signing is 4 years away....an eternity in teen years.
