He sits low 90s but touches mid. I don't know enough about his off speed stuff but he's a strikeout guy. I linked an article about him somewhere in this thread from the beginning of the year. I just don't remember all the details. I'll be able to find more tomorrow. I can't do shite on this iPad.

No word yet on Weatherly signing or coming to school. That he was drafted in the top 10 rounds would indicate he's signing though. The Blue Jays have agreements in place with most of their top 10 round guys and are currently over their bonus pool, but under the bonus +5%, so they still have some room to work. They did not draft any seniors with their top 10 round picks, so there likely won't be anyone severely undercutting the slot.

I wish every team's SB Nation site did a table as well as the Blue Jays do theirs.

Jake Slaughter says he's likely to end up at LSU:

“I am extremely excited and honored,” Slaughter said. “Will most likely be at LSU and ready to win a national championship.”

The Cubs have a little over 2 mill to spend through the entire draft. Idk who they picked but unless they based their entire draft on saving money so they can select slaughter, they won't be able to sign him. Unless of course he is willing to sign for 100-200 k.

Slaughter is 2-3 tonight with a double and a home run over the 409 sign in center. Swinging wood. He's starting to get comfortable.

I believe Slaughter is one recruit that will transition well against SEC pitching next year. I'd like to see Adams back at 1B next year and maybe Diechman to R or L field.

Why does information on baseball recruiting suck so much? There is no definitive website.

It's kind of a joke how bad it is. I comb through Perfect Game, D1 Baseball, Baseball America, Prep Baseball Report, individual JUCO teams sites, and whatever local newspapers I can find and still can't find that much.

Google sucks for a lot of it. It's the same links over and over again. I've had to get creative on the way I search. Also, Gannett newspaper sites are the worst.

I saw this and wondered if it would be worth it to create a site, but I wonder if it sucks this bad for a reason, because there just isn't that much of a demand for it.

LSU fans are very not representative of the overall demand.

For the most part, PG gets the lists right, but I find errors every year. D1 Baseball was doing a good update for a while, but stopped in like February.

247 has recruiting profiles for some players, but it's just like East Carolina and a few other schools whose mods do it. That's essentially the way to go. Getting one of the established sites to start putting more effort in on baseball. When Hunter Paniagua was at the LSU Scout site, he always had good info. That was literally the only reason I subscribed there.
