Damn an outfield with Cabrera and Pearson would be sick. Next years draft should be another interesting one.

What does Cabrera run? Pearson is 6.45 and Watson is 6.5+.

His times aren't as good as theirs. Just like Storz though I think he's a legit two way player if they allow him to do it. I think he could be the RF of the future based on his arm.

But Johnny Ray from Illinois also has a good arm, but I don't know if he'll be pitching or playing the outfield at LSU.

Pearson just committed to LSU! From his Twitter:

I don't think many realize how stacked LSU will be in the next few years. These are ELITE level players, guys that can really run and have tons of pop.

I found this article the other day when I was looking up JUCO kids. This one 4a playoff game had some talent in it: LINK

Chris Reid, Brennan Breaux, and ONeal Lochridge currently at LSU.
Austin Edens, All Conference at Samford
Mason Templet, committed to LSU
Chase Vallot, in the minors now
Laine Fontenot, Delgado's Ace and JT Mauldin, BRCCs best hitter
Wyatt Marks and Hogan Harris at ULL

I think LSUE pitcher Orynn Veillon was on that STM team as well.

Where does Templet play in high school? I heard he is a potential infielder or outfielder.

He played 3B. I've also seen him listed as a potential catcher.

From Baseball America at the PG National:

Nick Storz (Poly Prep Country Day School, Brooklyn, N.Y.) is better known for his prowess on the mound, but Storz showed delirious raw power in batting practice. He hit home runs over 420 feet to dead center field and to left center field. He has easily plus raw power. Storz’s bat will be intriguing to follow in game action over the coming days.
Read more at LINK

John Kodros (Coppell (Texas) High) didn’t show exceptional velocity, pitching at 83-84, but he was deceptive and competed in the strike zone. Kodros pitched primarily off his low 70s curveball, a hard-sweeping pitch that he was able to command down in the strike zone. Kodros throws from a lower arm slot. He has a wiry 6-foot-5, 165-pound frame.

treat him more like Luken Baker (TCU)

What a wasted opportunity. Luken is a member of my family. I called the coaches at LSU a couple years ago trying to get them to recruit him. Their response? "Well, if he's interested, he needs to get in touch with us because our class is almost full."

At least I have a team left in the CWS to cheer for I guess!

To be fair, if he liked LSU he could have just camped there and he most likely would have gotten an offer.

He didn't end up in a bad situation at TCU though, when's the last time LSU had a true 2 way player?

Being selfish but need MLB to leave 'em alone and get those players on campus.
