Really? There are a lot more loons out there than I thought.

This and more... Those kind of things I can't share here if I plan to use it on my site. I have to be fair to both my employer and chicken for allowing me to do this. But there were certainly a lot of similarities to other events that have transpired over recent time.

So it's a kid who the staff claims told them they were going to commit to LSU and then ended up choosing someone else. It's becoming apparent that whoever is sourcing the insiders gets the wrong impression that someone is going to commit to them. We have to be the only team who thinks kids routinely silently commit to them only to have them commit elsewhere publicly.

Here's what all the "insiders" missed on this kid. He visited LSU but his mom did not attend. He went to A&M the next weekend with mom. That's all the information you need to know to know we were not landing this kid.

jimmy thinking about things on a grand scale what must les and frank do to counteract all the deceit? Jansen Jackson was a long time ago, and here we are years later getting the same cowardly treatment. how would you deal with these kids slipping out the back door?

I enjoy the posts. I don't know much about this cat, just come yo this board for info. No point in paying for the insider stuff any more. But you did predict him to LSU. So I can see why people get their panties in a wad. But just like most of us you are trying to do a job.

Jimmy, I thought your article did the typical amount of hedging that all analysts do. The title, however, was bold / click bait, and seemed to have even affected national analysts as well.

I like reading your stuff, even if I believe it is biased. Keep up the hard work.

Has A&M ever put a DB in the NFL?

Once upon a time the NFL Defensive Player of the Year was a defensive back that played at Texas A&M.

How did this get to 8 pages? We "missed" on a third CB for the class. Big deal. We already have Kevin Toliver and Xavier Lewis, and we're still in the running for several other elite DBs. I don't see Elam to A&M as some huge loss.

Sherman could recruit. Just couldn't win. Seems Sumlin is falling in that same path sadly.

I don't believe anyone does. Its just because its a recruiting battle with a team in our proximity.

The first few pages were comments made anticipating the commitment. The OP changed the title once he committed.

You've gleamed this from all of two years huh? When they got here in 2012, their defense wasn't as crappy as it was last year. I'd say it was better than the typical Auburn defense. He is pulling in way more talent than TAMU has ever seen. They are really only two years out from competing for a championship.

IMO, 2016 is going to be rough, because last year's 7 top 10 classes will be juniors, and we play nearly every single one. We will also have possibly our best team ever loaded with junior NFL players. The West will be ridiculous for years to come, and the team to win it will certainly win the championship from 2015 on.

When its 50/50

This is the shite that has to stop. People are constantly doing 70/30 or 55/45 style predictions. Well guess what? That makes no fricking sense. Allof those fractions are simply made up. The recruit considers and then is 100 percent signed. There is never a true 50/50. Doesnt exist. Either you do or you dont. All ofthe other shite is hope and coping mechanism.

It is quite hilarious though to read the garbage put out by James Smith. From what I can tell through TexAgs, our guys actually try to be realistic about chances...

Our side thought 55/45 or 60/40 A&M.

Sadly, I remember Jimmy Detail saying that Speedy to A&M had a lot of truth to it and he even stated it did not look great for LSU down the home stretch. He often times reminded this board LSU had a shot, but A&M was the horse to beat.

And Jimmy missed on the Elam pick, but who cares? Just means we have another open scholly to offer someone else. While Elam is good, I dont think A&M will be able to develop his talent the same way LSU could for obvious reasons. Good luck to the kid, except when he plays LSU, and Jimmy keep doing your thing. I grew up not far from CStat and the Aggie delusion is pure gold. Don't let those special folks get you down, or this site, which can be pure hell at times.
