I say 6 if you include a big TE possible-conversion type. So 1 down, 5 to go.

If Alexander and Hawkins leave we in trouble with depth even signing a big class...

Wouldn't shock me to see a few JUCO guys on our offensive line next year. The development gap will be immense if they leave early.

You are 100 percent correct, and they have to be good players. We lose Collins, Porter, and possible Alexander and Hawkins. I think Hawkins will be back, so we would have Hawkins, maybe Alexander, Pocic, Boutte, Malone, Dodd, Clapp, Brosette, and I can't remember the St Aug kid's name. Not much depth.

Add Alexander to the list, but the point still stands. I think 6 will be the number.

Ah man, I forgot about Alexander, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him go pro after next season as well.

Patrick Vahe should commit here soon...once he's officially offered.

Rivals show he is committed to Texas- he wants to come here?

ut suppose they do?

We will be starting 3 true freshman on the line and we better buckle up for a 7-5 season. You could take 10 5* olinemen but the chances of 3 coming in and being ready to push around sec dlinemen would be slim.

Yeah, he's the cousin of the Teuhema's so he will likely end up here soon.

When LSU takes the field to open the 2016 season in Lambeau Field against Wisconsin we're going to have a hard time winning with only Clapp and Brumfield on the offensive line.

I know LSU had a lot of guys leave early the last 2 years, but it is not literally every one. Of the 17-18 guys that went pro the last 2 years, but several of them, including 6 in 2013 were 4 year guys. And while there may be a surprise like Turner, LSU will have more than just 2 guys in 2016 that are on the current roster.

But to you question, yes OL will be a big priority and it has been discussed many times.

I don't know that every player from the 2013 class will leave early. But suppose they do?

What is all our QB's get hurt? Or all our RB's?

Any team that lost every single player from one position group early would be screwed. But seeing as not all of those will start, why would they all leave? They are not all going to leave after just 3 years, close to half of the early entries are 4 year players that were red shirted.

I bet we end up with Aaron Wiltz, OT from Catholic High. He will be a three star by the end of the process

Do need at least 5 but I think 6 is the target. 1 C, 3 OTs and 2 OGs

As for the whole class breakdown

QB-1, never not take one again
RB-2, maybe a 3rd if the right guy
Wr-3, we need at least that many
TE-2, 1 would be fine but Les loves TEs
OL-5-6

DE-3, have quite a few but most are unknowns; could change after the spring when those kids are evaled
DT-2-3, have a ton of depth but its a hit or miss position
LB-2-3, need to restock. That big class is slowly going away
CB-3-4, we have very little depth and White and RR may not be around past 15
S-1-2, still need more

LS-1
K/P-1, need another Punter. Kheen needs to be pushed

Have to make room for the full 27 if possible
