Yes you can!

Yep!

And not only that, you can find places where the weather adds to your quality of life.

I really don't think any Southern state should be trying to say they are better than another Southern state imo

1. Lots of people live full time in Savannah, but the hurricane frequency is very limited in Georgia.

2. North Georgia weather can totally suck. Ice storms. Tornadoes are way more prevalent than some might think. Drought and water restrictions are a big problem.

3. Georgia has some great weather. Long fall and spring. North Georgia is beautiful. Coastal Georgia is beautiful. Middle and South Georgia is a pit much like parts of La.

4. Humidity in La. is horrible, but I found I got used to it and even now don't mind it when I am down there.

5. Louisiana has a culture that is unmatched. I think the friendliness of the people is overrated though. I don't find it any different there than here.

People in Louisiana have a lot of pride about the state which I love. On the other hand, the result of the state pride is often defensive and paranoid. The responses here are evidence of that. Geaux Tigers.

We don't have ANY natural disasters in AZ....it is pretty damn nice. Especially after living in SoCal for 7 years and dealing with earthquakes. At least with a hurricane you have some notice....when an earthquake hits you have zero idea they are coming. Literally nothing scares me as much as a big earthquake...if you have never been in one you can't understand.

Well there are wildfires to worry about in the forested areas of the state. And sometimes those are started from natural causes(lightening).

That's an understatement.

I think that is overstated a bit.

Fire season has been bad up here this year, but normally it's a non-issue.

Still a natural disaster though 480, esp if your home gets toasted in one of those fires.

I'm headed to Flagstaff this weekend, one of the areas we are likely camping at you can still see all the fire damage in the forest.

That about sums it up. We lived in Woodstock/Canton for 3 years.....absolutely gorgeous. Miss it.
