What can I spray? I applied the winter cocktail 2 weeks ago but that doesn’t seem to touch the poa. Any help?

This stuff usually comes up all up and down my street and disappears after the first cut of spring (except mine, thanks to pre-emergent).

I'll probably get it when my pre-emergent's shelf life is up, and when it does just let it do its thing and hit it with preventative the next season.

Combo of Certainty/Atrazine will knock it out.

I have a strip of poa between a flower bed and a walkway that looks like a putting green during the winter. I sprayed it with round up, tilled and overseeded several times and it always comes back. It's the nicest spot in the yard now but will look like crap from May until November.

Certainty/Atrazine How warm does it need to be to apply?

Poa grows from seed. you have to put down a pre-emergent in the fall to keep it at bay

Too late for that guy. So now I’m putting a bandage on it until next time.

Certainty/Atrazine is a cool weather mix. You would use it now.

Ronk,

I just put down some Image for Poa in Centipede/Bermuda. Should knock it out?

Image does work but it works so slow that I almost think it’s just the heat that kills it.
