What bands or songs are in your list? Do you have specific songs for specific times/lifts?

I like to start by walking into the gym with
NIN - somewhat damaged

then on shuffle with
Lamb of God
Coal chamber
NIN
Slipknot
Hellyeah
Mudvayne
Machine head
Pantera

I like to do hellyeah - say when and lamb of God - contractor for heavy work

Did we just become best friends?

My old go to's:
Pantera on back days
Lamb of God on leg days
Metallica on chest days
FFDP on arms and shoulders

Sometimes throw in some old school seplatura during deadlift sessions

RITM, Static X, Parkway Drive and Hatebreed are others that I throw in on occasion as well

Others are Down, Corrosion of conformity, Damage Plan and Hellyeah ( I know there is some conflict there, but great to work out to)

The Big 5,(usually it's Metallica live in Milan '11), AC/DC, Black Sabbath etc for weights

Cardio is all over the spectrum with a lot of jam band music

I totally understand that.

It only works for me on chest days. ride the lightning and and justice for all puts me in the zone for chest workouts.

It wouldn't really do the trick for anything else.

As far as who appears the most
Metallica
AC/DC
Disturbed
Rage against the machine
Various tracks from all the Rocky soundtracks
Dio

I believe mine is public on Spotify, I would recommend it

I love a good heavy, aggressive rap beat while working out. But I grew up a metal fan so I've got 'beat fetish' rap songs with banger beats, system of a down, Killswitch Engage, Metallica, A Day to Remember, and heavier stuff like Veil of Maya, Volumes, TDWP, Whitechapel.

I've never claimed to have great taste in music
