anyone have a good recommendation on one? How accurate are the ones that give you a body fat %?

I saw one in Amazon that looked fairly good.

The bodyfat will not be accurate. I believe it runs off of impedance. You could have different water levels at a given time. That said, all bodyfat tests are not accurate. The key is to be consistent in whatever test you do and do not work about accuracy. If you test with calipers, test the same way, time and conditions (morning, after pee) and measure progress from your baseline.

I have a Withings smart scale. The body fat aspect I lend little to no credence to, but what I do really like about it is that is syncs up automatically to MyFitnessPal. So Every morning my weight is auto synced and logged after I step on the scale.

I have the Fitbit aria and I like it and it automatically syncs with my phone. as another poster said, I just use it to follow the trends versus the absolute number

I know the bio electrical impedance models for bf% weren't very accurate several years ago.

Not sure how they are now

I also have the Fitbit Aria. Body fat % is definitely inaccurate but like others have said, just follow the trend of increase/decrease.
