Gentlemen, let's discuss pants for lifters

This seems to be a common complaint; having to buy a larger waist on pants to fit muscular legs. For example, right now I'm wearing a pair Old Navy loose fit jeans. 36" waist, though I would normally wear a 34". But, anything smaller would look like someone painted the jeans on my thighs.
When I was working at the bank, and I had to wear slacks, I found that the Stafford brand at JC Penny was the best fitting. I was able to get pretty close to my waist size without having to look like I was squeezed into a sausage.
Any suggestions for moderately priced jeans?

Costco has some lucky brand jeans that are nice that for correctly.

There are brands out there for these problems. I have a 32 waists but those pants don't fit around my thighs

Under Armor and adidas golf pants work well for me as khakis
Nike's used to work but their new models are too stiff and tight in the thigh area

Are they online only?

You can find a retailer close to you and go try them on. The places I've been will fit and hymn them for you if you buy them. I'm between 32 and 34 inseam. So depending on how I wear them they are hymned differently.

Kohl's sells a brand called Urban Pipeline that are very affordable and the Loose fit jeans should do the trick. Also, Levi's straight cut works for me too.

I was a guy who paid $75 and up for jeans and had the same problem
One day I was with my wife at old navy and they had a sale on jeans and I saw a pair of their stretch jeans. They are 3% spandex and give with the shape of your body
Most comfortable jeans I've ever worn and they were $30. I went back and got another pair

If you catch Kohl's with the right sale, the Urban Pipeline jeans are either $20 or $25. They're usually buy one get one half off I believe.
