My dad gave me some yesterday that was just collecting dust on his table. Not sure where it came from, but isn't this the stuff women peddle on Facebook? Regardless, how effective is it? I need to drop about 25 pounds and some recent injuries and surgeries are really hampering my ability to excercise at the moment.

I'm sure Mouton has a review floating around somewhere.

Cutting carbs to 50g or below per day definitely does

What's this have to do with eating at a caloric deficit?

If drinking something or taking a pill everyday allowed you to lose 25 lbs, there wouldn't be a single overweight person on this planet. Im sure somewhere there is a disclaimer on the product that says you have to combine this product with a healthy diet and regular exercise.

Guess what, if you just do a healthy diet and regular exercise. you don't need their special sauce.

Download the my fitness pal app, enter your information and start tracking your food intake. Get out and move around everyday (start by just moving around the office/house more) and that will take care of that 25 lbs in no time.

What does not being able to exercise have to do with burning more calories than I consume? Seriously?

I will be lowering my calorie intake. However, since I can't exercise, I was wondering if this would help either 1) suppress my appetite allowing me to take in fewer calories and/ or 2) raise my metabolism allowing me to burn more calories?

I am not looking for any miracle pill. I am not trying to lose 25 pounds in a week or even a month. These will likely take a few months. My question, regarding Plexus, is since I already have it, is it worth my while to supplement my diet with it. That's all. Quit being fricking cocksuckers. Answer my question non-condescendingly or shut the frick up and carry your arse. Have a great day.

Ask that in the OP. Not some vague "does it work" statement.

If you want to suppress your appetite then fill up on lean meats and veggies, and drink 1-2 gallons of water per day. Track your calories, and eat at a deficit. Since you can't work out, that means you have to be more meticulous with watching how much you eat. An easy way to cut out calories is to skip breakfast and try an intermittent fasting approach.

It's not rocket appliances.

I appreciate the responses. Clearly my topic has folks under the impression I don't know wtf I'm doing. I do. And if I didn't, there are some really awesome threads already on here. I literally only wanted to know about this particular product. I have a plethora--yes, a plethora--of it and was wondering if I should take it, chunk it, or give it to the homeless. It appears most of you think I should chunk it.

Going low carb, high protein will do this as your body adjusts from burning the sugars in carbs for energy to burning fat for energy. I've lost almost 40 pounds since going low carb in January, and I sometimes have to force myself to eat something. Usually only eat 2 meals per day, and only exercise once or twice a week.

Know nothing about Plexus except for the 2 girls on my Facebook that are always peddling it.
