I'm assuming you think the headphone adapter for the Xbone is a sign of freedom as well?

Eh, some people don't think about the rechargeable AA's. My BIL was complaining about batteries and I told him about the AA's and he hadn't even thought about it. I wish PS had the same setup with removable batteries, it is really convenient

nah, that's bullshite. and we still have no adapter or announcement of an adapter. but there are hacks on the Internet to still use previous gen headphones. but me, I'm pretty happy with what the PSTards were calling a cheap $5 headset

Salty, I was being sarcastic. I own the recharge kit but hate having to plug it in all the time, so mainly use rechargeable batteries, but to PSTards that's an inconvenience not a freedom

I remember seeing a picture of one, I want to say it's only going to be $20 or something like that.

That's it

I usually have my laptop in my lap while I play and the new One plug and play kit will charge when I plug it into my macbook. Very convenient.

I have been playing Fallout 3 on my 360 in the other room, while I talk to my friends on the Xbone.

It's Obviously still during the normal hours of a work day.

And owning 4-5 Xbox 360's with hard drives (which I mentioned owned as well) would make it apparent to most logical people that I'm aware the hdd snaps on the side with the removable mesh grill.

Pick your trolling skills up you sick at it. HTH

To the normal posters in the thread I still plan on supplying the model number once I get off if work today.

But you posted last night that you would have proof today...
Having model numbers is not proof..

LOL

I'll post it in a bit buddy.
Vine YouTube or model number as long as it references what I'm getting at.

Tbh I hope like hell I'm wrong and there's something I'm missing. I really hated wasting a 128 gig flash drive on it.

So here I am eating my crow and rightfully so.

Going back and reading my posts in this thread gave me a headache.

I assumed (doh) the op had the same issue as me. Clearly he did not and I also didn't choose the words I should have when I bitched about the hdd bs msft pulled, which is a legit complaint about not being able to use their custom hdds that I already owned on the revised model, however I was off on my own tangent i suppose.

Tl;dr merlot posting can be humorous but not in an expected way.

Ah well...

Keep waiting... lol

The model I have accepts an hdd but not the og model hdd.

I admit poor choice of words, legit complaint, just didn't go with the ops complaint.

For who though?

I have a stack of broken 360's because I don't speak Indonesian.

I have high capacity hdds from the og 360.

It's normal to expect to be able to continue to use parts for the console I bought it for in the same gen. Just as someone wouldn't expect to buy a different shaped cart for a n64 back in the day.

It's just a really shady business model. In the end I should have done my homework but this is unprecedented in consoles to my knowledge.

*edit* sorry about the edits. My phone is still learning my language.

You can remove the old HDD from the case and line it up with the connectors in the XBox Slim and it will work

Huge thanks for that tip. I saw stout posted something similar but figured he was replying to someone else in another page. Thread had ballooned by then and I skipped to the end and missed Everything I should have read it seems.

You know you can just take the hard drive out of the the original xbox 360 casing and stick it in the new one. It works, just loose and ghetto-rigged of course

Edit:nvm already posted.

Yeah, it is loose, but nothing a little paper shim won't fix, unless you are really anal about that sort of thing. If that is the case these empty enclosures work well.

Xbox does a great job of fixing these for you. I've sent two in. It is an extremely easy process.
