With all the MW and BF fights on here how does CS:GO get left out?

This game is wildly popular yet gets no play on here, is it because it's PC?

CS:GO is hardcore. People who play that are too busy practicing relentlessly to join in any arguments about FPS games.

I used to play CS Source a shite ton back in the day.
It got to the point where it felt like head hit boxes were the size of cruise ships.
Been turned off to the game series ever since. Not to mention, of all the FPS games I've played (COD included), the counterstrike community is the most immature and toxic and takes itself entirely too seriously.
I miss the days of BF2 and the early COD's.

im nova II. ive de ranked on purpose like 15 times because all i ever get at N2 is trolls and unranked idiots that cant even shift walk. been playing about 2 weeks and getting pretty good. top fragged in a game full on N4s yesterday, was surprised and kinda pissed at myself because i threw quite a few rounds and we tied. crates are pissing me off. ive prob opened about 12 crates since i started and got a total of 4 skins. lots of repeats. best one ive gotten is worth about .30 so the $20 i spent on keys makes it def not worth.

I watch the competitive CS:GO matches all the time. Really entertaining stuff.

I've played CS since 1.3, and although I've never been great at it, I've had fun. But CS players are some hardcore assholes. I eventually got to the point on Source where I was either just playing gun games or scoutknives.
I like GO, but again, do mainly the armsrace playlist. I feel like I'm too late to the game to jump into regular matches. Don't want to get yelled at.

lol I had the different kind of luck.
I opened two cases one was an AK worth about 35 bucks and the other was a pistol skin that I liked and kept

I'm not very good, and I know I'm not very good, and I don't care about getting very good... I just want to log in and play for a while and have fun.
