Not related to the your question but there's a part on the game where you'll face a vampire. I played on Death march and was stuck there for a couple of hours only to experiment and figure out that it was 10 times easier to kill during the day.

hate DLC. I rant against DLC and yet I loved both

When the DLC are virtually full games and well developed it is very much worth it...money well spent

Both of the DLC's were awesome

The Blood and Wine conclusion is literally perfect.

My second question is, why is it taking so long to level? I can see how this can be a good thing but I've been looking at a level 13 sword to craft since I have been about level 4.
Why would you craft gear you cant equip.

Potions and decoctions are essential to not getting rekt in this game. The story is one of the best in the biz.

I agree with the Griffin armor set. I can't tell you how many hours I spent on that game. Awesome!

When you get closer to level 30 buy the expansion packs, they add hours of time to your game.

Once you get the hang of the combat and when to stay and fight and when to leave shite for later, you will not be able to stop playing.

The thing about Witcher 3 is that when.... Zzzzzz... Zzzzzz....

Damn my bad, the thought of that game put me to sleep.

im glad to see the Heart of Stone DLC getting love. I agree, it was impossible to put down.

the final boss on death march was insanely tough. hardest fight in the game IMO. (although the final main quest boss wasn't easy either)

GOD was a great character.

I shite you not, I was driving today and I saw a plant about 4 foot high on the side of the road and my first thought was "do I need it for a potion?"

I reached level 24 yesterday, and have about 30 hours in the game, and have not yet completed the main quest

If you do just the main quest and side quest it will take at least 50 hours. The average playtime is around 70 hours and if you explore it could be more. Heart of Stone is about 10 hours and Blood and Wine is about 30 hours. Both are fantastic DLCs that really add a lot to the game. Blood and Wine could easily be called Witcher 4 and Toussaint is completely different than any other place in the Witcher world.

It's an amazing technical achievement (especially for the time). Also, the writing is very good at times. That said, it wasn't that fun. The main problem was the combat. That and the main story is underwhelming.

I have not been able to put this down. This is the first game in years that's has captured me like this. I've started listening to the audiobooks so I can get more immersed in this world. I upped the difficulty and that added some extra fun. I'm still only level 13 but I've been trying to do everything I can at or below my level and continue to outlevel stuff. But I do enjoy taking on the odd monster a few levels higher than me.

Since I finished that game last year, I've struggled to find another game that I really stick with... I haven't played a game that sucked me in like that since I was a kid and played FF7

If you liked listening to the audibooks, you'll probably love the fact they're working on a series for Netflix. The author of the Witcher books will be a creative consultant as well.

First time playing a game like this for me. And I've absolutely fallen in love with it. I'm 41 hours deep and I'm about to finish the main story and I'll then begin all the side quests and contracts and such. I'll do the DLCs as well

It's just nonstop action that drags me deeper and deepee
