I wish someone would take that same combat, expand on it to add more strategy and build a good RPG around it. Like Vaklyria Chronicles, it was another interesting take on mixing turn based and real time combat.
It was SO satisfying to land a cancel attack on an enemy about to unleash some devastating spell. Equally hilarious when your character was JUST about to land their cancel and was frozen in time waiting to take the full brunt of the oncoming attack they were trying to negate.
