I dont understand how cranium basher is imbalanced? the item is available for everyone, and it can't be stacked,as they share a cooldown.
If multiple heroes are easy to win with, then that makes the game balanced. If everyone is overpowered, no one is.
Once again, squishy stealth heroes are squishy, and easily countered by wards, or slardar/gondar.

As for how you counter the heroes that are rediculously easy to win with, I'm assuming you are talking about AA caries, like AM or void. AM is a bit of a problem, but characters like obsidian destroyer can outcarry him. Any other AA carry can be ganked, and since they lose gold, they can't carry without farm.

I'm assuming you haven't played Dota in a while and don't understand that they have patched it to make it more balanced.

I don't have a soft spot for Dota, I've played all three of them, and HoN was actually the first one I played(I started in the beta days of HoN).

Losing gold to death in conbination with denying means it's much easier in Dota to stop carries from well, carrying.

there are just too many heroes that are ridiculously easy to win with in Dota

All you have mentioned is Phantom lancer/phantom assassin. They are extremely squishy early/mid game, focus fire them, gank them, and win.

Every hero has a counter, that's what makes Dota balanced.

I'm sorry, but you haven't given any reasons for why LoL is more balanced than Dota, or even more balanced than HoN, you are just stating your opinion as fact.

Sorry, this pretty much disqualifies your opinion then.. Dota had already been going for 4-5 years when HoN was in beta.. and I was in beta for LoL as well.

So because I've only been playing MOBAs for 2 years disqualifies my opinion? Minigun's(a SC2 pro) first RTS was SC2, is his opinion on balance nullified because he has only been playing RTS games for 2 years?
Seriously dude, 2 years is a long time, but keep on thinking your opinion is better because you've played longer.

Yes, because there is absolutely zero way you've played all 3 of these games enough in 2 years to have an educated opinion on the balance of all 3 in relation to each other. No offense to you or your skill, it's just not possible.

You really are a moron if you think this. 2 years is an absurdly long time in video game lifespan, and most skill transfers between all three games, and Dota/Hon are almost the same game(when it comes to heroes, map, and items).
So 1 year per game isn't long enough?
Seriously GTFO.

Why you mad though?
So a sophomore is just as knowledgeable as a 3rd year post-graduate in your book? Like I said, I’m sure you’re well above the average for a 2nd year player but unless you have zero life and sit around playing JUST these 3 games 40 hours a week for the last two years..

Come to think about it, I had mad skills with the rail gun in Q2 when I was on modem and pinging 400+ anywhere I played. Had to lead/guess like a motherfricker...got damn good at it.

You completely missed my point on Minigun.
I've been playing SC2 for less than a year, but I'm already high diamond, about to be masters. SC2 is the first RTS i've played, and I'm around the top 5%. I don't really play it that much either. Does that mean that someone who has been playing RTS's since the originial SC was released, but is in gold league is more informed than me?
Similarly, I've been playing racing games for a very long time, but I'm absolutely terrible at them, and I'm too bad at them to really understand the nuaces between them.

My point isn't I'm so awesome, just that people have varying levels of natural ability for whatever reason at certain games.

It's ok to admit that you don't have any real reasons that LoL takes more skill than Dota, and had to result in attacking my experience because you had no facts to prove your point.

It's not like you need a degree in the video game to play it well, after about 6 months you should have all the experience you need to have an informed opinion.
