Ok, i've been playing a bunch of CS:GO lately and I am sick of the retard randoms I get. I made it to Master Guardian I and then lost like 7 games in a row and now I am back down to GNM. If anyone wants to play, I will be playing/streaming it tomorrow night. Let me know!

it doesn't really get better. Solo queueing is a huge risk. the worst is when you get matching with a 4 queue who are on teir own teamspeak. no communication period. friend people with whom you enjoyed playing. get on r/recruitcs.

I just climbed back up into MG1 last night after a few games. Lately, I have been doing really well provided I have an SG553, AUG, or AWP. I am trying to work on my M4A1-S skills but frick an AK-47. That fricking gun is so fricking hit or miss. Also, the hit boxes are absolutely terrible at some points. If I see blood flying, you goddamn better believe that a bullet hit them. Of course they kill me, and then it trolls me and says "nah just kidding man, you didn't hit them, but they downed your bitch arse in two shots for 200+ damage with a USP-S."

I've changed my mind. I can't get down with it.

Did you memorize the spray pattern? The beauty of the ak is versatility. 3 hits are a kill as compared to 4 for the CT rifles which gives you a huge advantage in spray downs at mid ranges. Regarding seeing blood spatter, it and bullet holes are represented and generated on the users end rather than the server side. Server side is the only thing that matters which is why ping is important. Hitboxes are no longer the problem. I only one tap with ak at far distances. Otherwise I at least spray 2-3. At medium close distances I spray the first ten as they are pretty reliable and controllable. Despite the inherent inaccuracy of the ak at medium long ranges, the one hit hs is worth it.

The m4a1s is no longer the preferred CT rifle since the big update. Ak>a4>a1. I rarely buy Aug or sg.

IIRC the AK fires in a J pattern correct? So one would pull down on the mouse as they fire to keep the barrel center mass. I've noticed if I am spraying with the P(ro)-90 I have to pull down as well. I wasn't aware that they nerfed the M4A1-S that much. I reckon I will be taking it off of my loadout. I love the AUG far more than the SG, but my preferred weapon is the AWP (of course)

New update today included a new pistol, the revolver. Its pretty much a one shot kill at mid to close range, but has a charge up time (cocking back the hammer) before it fires with left mouse button. Right mouse button enables you to fan it and fire rapidly but at a major loss of accuracy.

They've also lowered the reset rates for rifles so that it's more advantageous to fire in bursts instead of spraying in mid to long range fights.
