I've done 114 shrines and found like 170 korok seeds, but I'm waiting to kill Ganon. I have no idea where the other 6 shrines are, but I really don't want to look them up... And frick trying to find 900 korok seeds. I'm trying to find one last star fragment to max out my last piece of guardian gear at the moment, but I'm not having much luck.
I may just keep plugging away at the shrines/seeds and farming Lynels to max my barbarian armor. I really don't want the game to end, but there was no way I was going to pace myself until the Mario Kart release.

I'm going to play again. My next playthrough will be completely different than my first
This is a Mario 64 type game. Meaning I'll be playing it for a few years with breaks in between

Fox nailed it.
This game is replayer all day long.
And plus the DLC hasn't come out yet, remember?

**Puzzle Spoiler**
So, who all else has found the giant doors at the bottom of the snowy slopes with the shrine behind them? Was an extremely satisfying solution to getting those doors open.

I don't think this is spoiling it to say you will do it again in the same region.

So I quit coming to this thread to avoid spoilers
I was hitting up some of the towns I haven't been to in a while and remembered the dye shop that I never visited b/c I was poor when I came through.
Let me just say you owe it to yourself to dye the goron set green. Cowabunga dudes!

Not even close to done.
Finally found the master sword. After dying trying to pull it out I read that you need 13 heart containers to successfully get it out. frick

I'm up to 98 shrines I think? I finished the story a while ago; I'm tempted to start a new file but I think I'm gonna wait for the hard mode DLC.

I got a Switch over the weekend and picked the game up.
For those who have logged a ton of time on it, any "pro tips" to share? I haven't played a Zelda game since Majoras Mask and I'm pretty excited.
I just got to Zoras Domain and I'm sitting at Vah Ruta waiting to do the first dungeon. I think I'm going to complete that one to get the feel of the large dungeons and do more exploration before heading to the second one.
One of my main problems is Rupees. I don't seem to have more than 300-350 at a time. I usually stock up on arrows, etc, before I leave town so I'm usually low. What do you guys do to get a good supply?
I am loving the game so far. The durability with the weapons issue isn't a huge deal to me, but I wish it lasted a little longer at least.

smash rocks and get gems. or blow rocks up with bombs (much more fun imo) to find gems. That will keep your rupee count up

turn off the hud (pro mode)
turn off the shiekah finder until you've knocked out a lot of shrines otherwise it will constantly annoy you.
for rupees, mine shite. when you see an ore deposit smash it or blow it up and after a while you'll have gotten some rare stuff like rubies, sapphires and diamonds.
do not sell ancient cores, and do not sell monster "guts" or lynel hoofs as later in the game you'll wish you had held on to them

I've been selling lizalfos horns, bobolkin fangs and other monster parts that are easily farmable.
And selling gems.

I only usually sell the stuff that I think doesn't have another purpose. I've gotten a few gems out of a couple chests that sell for 60-70 rupees each. Don't come across them too often though.
I'll look out for the rock deposits to mine. Are they typically near mountain ranges? It sounds silly, but in games like WoW there are mining deposits in forest on rocky hills and such. Just trying to find the better places to look for them.

Ore deposits are everywhere in the mountainous areas

I've defeated all the dungeons, got the master sword, and found all the memories. I feel like I need to farm rupees and items before I take on Ganon.
I recently got the timing down for deflecting guardian lasers so I may farm some ancient materials during my next session.

I'm close to being finished with everything. All the dungeons done, have the master sword, I have 110 of the 120 shrines. I want to finish the shrines before I finish the game, but man.. These last 10 are just super grindy... Might just say frick it and finish up

leave something new for the next playthrough if you're planning on playing it again. that was what I decided
