Thats true. I found my first 102 shrines by myself, but my strategy guide came in after that and I've used that since.

It also came with a korok seed map (there are 900)... I was a little tempted but...

Just don't I did that one day, telling myself "I'll only search for them for 30 minutes" 4 hours later I was up to 60 seeds at least

So many of the shrines are hidden and can't even be found with the shrine tracker feature, that really is what made me get it. I found all the ones with Kass (because his diary reveals them all locationally), but all the other hidden shrines were just too hard to find. There's too much ground to cover and I don't have enough time in my life so I caved

The 2 shrines I found before I turned on the tracker that I'm most proud of

One behind a weak wall on this rarely traveled to cliff on the side of a mountain and one under a metal slab on this weird towering island. There are cooler ones but I had hints from the shrine quest initiation like the one where you start from a lone tree on a snowy mountain

For those with a Smash Zelda Amiibos, did you get a Twilight Bow drop?

It's the only Amiibos which isn't dropping the special item.

Edt: After about 4hrs it just dropped. Didn't realize the bow only shoots light arrows. I knew the range was 8,000 compared to the 40 by Ancient and Falcon bows but damn, it goes across the map.

Just realized you can one shot kill those guardians, at least the ones I've come across, by reflecting their laser beam with your shield. All those needless deaths

I'm way behind everyone here. Played HZD and Nier first. Exceptional games.

For the Amiibos, do I need anything else or just buy the figures I want?

Just need the Amiibos. Scan on the Pro Controller in the center and on top the right stick on the Joy Con. Those are the 2 areas where the Switch has a NFC reader.

Warning: Amiibos are ridiculously addictive. Even for a PC Gamer like me. Nintendo products are just fun to collect.

The bastards at IGN has a Zelda article on the front page that ruined something that would have been cool to find out.

Anything to do with 10 pins?

Edt: I missed this location several times. Thought it was the same shack as the shield girl. You can get turned around easily on the tundra.

Thankfully outside of the Switch, the other Nintendo products I own are an SNES and N64, and the only Switch game I have is this, so that addiction won't get me

Now those Funko Pop! figures, I have a problem

Surprisingly hate those things. They are cheap looking.

It had something to do with an animal. That's as much as I'll say.

started a new game last night...this game is in GOAT contention. it holds up, after close to 80 hours on my first playthrough I wasn't burned out on it, it felt just as mind blowing the first time I played.

the one thing i'm sure about in terms of what this game's legacy will be is that it is the best sound design of any game I've ever played. those ambient and environmental noises are crucial to gameplay as well as being enjoyable. not the best music when comparing it to say "Metroid prime" but easily the best sound design.

up to 59 shrines.

that is fun to do. you think you've pretty much seen all there is until you revisit places and quickly discover how fricking wrong you were
