Not silverstone, seasonic, who makes silverstones top line power supplies. They also make corsairs, XFX, rosewill and a few more companies top line power supplies.

Seasonics are the best and usually cheapest

The seasonic gets lots of reviews complaining about stiff cables. Any rebuttals?

They kind of are, but I had no problems wiring. It was $99, so you cant beat that price for the best 850w psu on the market

FWIW, I have a Corsair PSU and I dig it. I mean, it powers everything, I've never had a problem, wired up easily as can be, to me that's pretty much what it's supposed to do, sooooo...

Corsairs hx and ax lines are amazing, don't get me wrong, but they're all manufactured by seasonic.

You won't go wrong with any of the gold/platinum rated rosewills, corsairs, XFX, PC Power and cooling, etc...

Tom's hardware seems to like corsair thus proving the point already made that they are good.

The main differences are that te corsair has more fan noise and the seasonic has stiffer cables.

My seasonic does have stiff cables but it didn't really bother me.

Almost all your good PSUs are made by Seasonic, but I agree.. Huge fan of Corsair products and their customer service.

Just purchase a AX1200i. The digital signal should help keep OCs stable.

I'm probably not going to spend $330 on a power supply.

Yea and you don't need it.

I also have a AX850. Love it, awesome that it is modular.

I have a seasonic gold 850 watt modular and I payed about $110 so you don't have to pay $330.

It's been great so far. I only wish I would have bought the 750 because it was on sale for a bit cheap about a week after I bought the 850. I don't need 850 at all but maybe one day.
