Pretty funny tribute.
Not sure how many of you follow Giant Bomb, but they are one of the few gaming sites that focus on the "gaming" aspect of games, not the business side. Just recently go in to them.
Davis left Gamespot back in 2007 when Jeff Gerstmann was fired right around the time he wrote a bad review for Kane and Lynch: Dead Men. The creators of Kane and Lynch, Eidos, was a heavy advertiser on Gamespot and wasn't too thrilled with the review. Gamespot denied this was the reason Gerstmann was fired, but after Gamespot came under new management, Gerstmann came out and affirmed that GS caved under advertiser pressure. Being sick of the business side of the gaming world, they created Giant Bomb which has, IMO, the most informative reviews and podcasts in the industry. Ryan Davis was the host of that podcast.
Ryan Davis was married 2 weekends ago, which makes this news even sadder.
Anyways, not sure how many of you actually know who he is, but he was one of the good guys and was fun to listen to. Figured it should get a mention.

I just found out about this an hour ago. Super sad about it. One of those situations where it feels silly to be upset because I didn't know him but I FELT like I did.
I listen to the Giant Bombcast all the time and he was a great host. Just seemed like a really good guy and was both funny and knowledgeable.
I can't even imagine the site or the podcast without him.

Yeah, heart attack would be plausible guess. But still, that's young for a heart attack just due to obesity complications. That's generally something that catches up to you in your late 40s or 50s, unless he had a congenital heart defect, or did a lot of coke. (I don't know anything about him so I'm just guessing)
