Which I will be doing for as long as I can. It's one of the fatties that can actually play PS2 games.

frick I have two. I'll keep at least one. I guess I'll be fine. The PS4/720 is straight up living room territory though.

I guess I can attribute it's long shelf life on the fact that I use it mainly for Netflix.

Also, I don't know many people with an actual gaming PC that run 32 bit windows.

I don't know any gaming PCs that run less than 8, and most I've seen are 16. This guy makes me lol.

That's what I have.

I think it's only lasted this long because I never turn it on.

You must have had a rough move.

Ah, I didn't know they're planning backwards compatibility. Last I heard they were going to pull a PS3 and not have any.

They had backwards compatibility with the launch PS3s and the new model that came out a year later. They removed it in order to save on production costs, because they found that hardly anyone used it. People were buying PS3s to play PS3 games, not PS2 games.

Or just keep your PS3?

Impossible idea. I haven't gotten rid of any of my consoles in the past two generations and I certainly won't now.

I know this is from an earlier post, but this is a problem with PC gaming. Because you have system RAM limitations with 32 bit windows, you still have to support it. Until MS gets rid of it, developers still have to make games compatible with it.

You'd also be surprised how few people have good "gaming" PCs.

Still rocking my Gamecube. I have the Wii but thing pretty much stays in the box. My original xbox and PS2 were donated to someone.

i'm returning my xbox360 and 30+ xbox titles to GameStop today and I'll be selling my Gaming PC parts to the highest bidder on Craigslist.
In hope to make a advanced payment on the P$4.

The epic developer is trying to break it down to a child's perspective. The reason a lot of people don't game on a PC is because of the perceived high cost. This guy is just trying to make the inevitable ps4 $700+ price tag seem more appealing

ill love to hear the fanboi's rationalization for getting one at that price point if they do, though.

I could build a perfectly good gaming pc for $700
