Yeah they would all be OG gen 1's. I had them all every holo and the whole shabang. If I were to ever lay my eyes on them again the nostalgia would be so real.

They days of going to buy the cards and seeing tons of already open wrappers from kids stealing them in Walmart. Ohh man good times.

Like I know I have the holo mewtwo but I need to know if it's 1st edition. It's a bummer. I may get in the attic when it cools down some.

Fire red. Doing it all with blastoise. Only using other pokemon for HMs.

Blastoise is a level 40 and I've finished 3 gyms so far. It's a cake walk lol

My main issue with the newer games is that they are too easy.

There is no challenge. The gyms and Elite 4 are all at low levels and don't take much to beat.

Then you have "friends" instead of rivals who hold your hand the entire quest and tell you exactly where to go and what to do.

I remember playing Red/Blue as an 11 year old and having no idea what to do or where to go. You had to figure that shite out yourself. Like the Snorlax blocking the path. You had to get the Poke Flute. But to get the Poke Flute you had to get the Silph Scope. You didn't have "friends" holding your hand and telling you exactly where to go to get the Silph Scope or Poke Flute.

I also feel like the more advanced the graphics, the more generic everything looks. I prefer the RBY/GSC art style. The towns and areas all had their unique feel. These days they all look the same because of the camera angle and graphical style.

I am hoping Sun/Moon finds a way to be a "new" game. Shake up the formula a bit. Try something new. Black and White and X/Y felt like expansion packs, not new games. I enjoyed them, but not as much as the previous entries. Diamond/Pearl was really the last main entry that felt like a new installment.

Been trying to catch Moltres for over an hour. He's taken over 40 ultra balls. One more hit and he faints. Do i just use my master ball?

Love it. I ran a Brocks Ninetails/Steelix deck back in the Super Trainer Showdown days.

EDIT: Why do you have Wartortles in your Rain Dance deck? When I ran Rain Dance decks I would skip Wartortle and only have 4 Squirtles, 4 Blastoises, and 4 Pokemon Breeders. If you can't get Blastoise out by Turn 2 you are screwed anyway. That was the major drawback of Rain Dance.

I tried getting into the modern card game but its different. You can't even use old cards because the HP/Attack powers are much higher. I played the Pokemon TCG Online.

This is my Leaf Green personal best at Speed Running

01 Brock - 00:16:04 16:04
02 Misty - 00:46:43 30:19
03 Lt. Surge - 01:04:49 18:06
04 Silph - 01:40:41 35:52
05 Koga - 02:05:33 24:52
06 Blaine - 02:17:09 11:36
07 Erika - 02:21:18 4:11
08 Sabrina - 02:33:21 12:03
09 Giovanni - 02:39:54 6:33
10 Blue - 03:16:12 36:18

03:16:12. Could have improved by 5 minutes but I accidentially ran into this trainer near the underground road in Celadon City who has annoying arse minimizing Grimers.
