Next couple of weeks. I think something is slated for release on the 9th.

I started out by making a sarcastic joke in hg's thead. "unstick everything except gta thread" or something like that
someone said unstick the pc threads
later, i said
quote:
carson guide to success
get coyote to put link to pc guide in op of pc thread
unsticky pc guide thread
unsticky xbone thread
unsticky ps4 thread
?????
profit
after that lew said
quote:
Guidebook thread is slapped into the OP of the PC thread, GTA stays for another week or two (it wouldn't go anywhere even if it was unstickied), unsticky the PS4 and XBox threads. I'll bump mine if needed.
Matter of fact, the PC thread was doing just fine without the sticky. This is the GAMING Board, not the Game Platform Board. Let's keep the GTA V thread and the names list thread.
but lets blame carson

I'm at the point where running doesn't bother mine but bending over does. Insert gay joke... You ever see the doctor about it?

Is that Amazon? That MSI TF 7970 was $268 on Newegg the other day. I hope you didn't pay more than that for it
Got some Amazon GC in a trade on reddit, so I went ahead and got it off there. After MIR it's like $279 so I'm not worried

That's still a good price. Before the 990x announcement, it was fluctuating between 300 and 350, depending on the promo that week. I paid $400 for mine earlier this year.

The titan needs a $300 cut at least. The 780 needs to be $500-550, and that would still be too much. $550-600 for crossfire 7970s beats them all.

PC Update:
After loading the most recent bios I put the 680s back the computer in SLI and everything has been running great for 24 hours plus. I'm cautiously optimistic.
On a side note, the 680 Classified does not like overclocking one bit. They want to be run at stock speeds period.

Well that's good.
Weird that those classifieds don't like overclocking though. I thought that was the point in paying a premium for cards like that.

I think the Classified comes with the highest clock speed of any 680. Maybe they're just already pushed near their limit. When I looked at the EVGA forums the consensus seemed to be that they don't really OC.

yeah, that could be it. I just assumed that with the pumped up VRM that vendors add to cards like that then they would overclock higher.
