Any recommendations? (price isn't an option)

Like jambox style or sound bar style? I usually defer to gizmodo and amazon reviews but price is almost always a factor to me.

Jambox style... (I just bought a Sonos off Amazon, had great reviews)

ETA:

Nvm I just canceled.. the Sonos requires AC power and WiFi. I wanted more of a bluetooth portable system. Bought a Jawbone Jambox instead.

Got my case, HDD and PSU yesterday!

Probably wont end up using the PSU. It's a non-modular one and looks like a pain in the arse. My CPU and mobo come in tomorrow, H60 hopefully later in the week.

Still looking for a steal on a decent video card plus some cheap 2x2gb or 2x4gb ram

Harman Kardon wireless sound sticks. Look cool as shite (clear acrylic) and sound nice.

I just put this 570 of mine for sale on Amazon. Not sure what card/cards I am going with as a replacement yet. Maybe crossfired 7870s? I should just get two 7950s maybe instead of being cheap. I just really didn't like my old 7950.

Only if Coyote wants to sell me his for $600

That's my budget. I can either crossfire two 7950s for that price or crossfire 3 7870s. I sort of want to do 3 for the hell of it. We already have people here with two crossfired 7950s.

My board will do 3

Not sure what the rest of your setup looks like, but 850 should handle the 3 7870s. Might run into trouble if you plan on upping voltages on all three and doing some serious OCing.

I don't really OC.

My set up is

CPU - AMD 8350
16GB memory
OCZ SSD and 2 HDD
and counting my CPU cooler I have 5 fans

The only thing that draws a lot of power will be the 8350

ETA I may just get two cards for now and spend the rest towards a 120Mhz monitor.

You'd still be ok with 3 cards and the 850w if you didn't OC. 2 cards might be all you need. It might even be a wiser investment to get a 1440p monitor and turn off MSAA on most games.

This is where I am leaning. If I ever go to 3 it will be just for shits and giggles to see what I can do.

Looking at two MSI GHZ editions

Going to look around for a 27" monitor to go with it all. I have a 23.6 now and would like something a little bigger.

If you are gaming in 1080p there isnt really a point to getting a better card than a 7870 MYST unless you are just trying to be coyote light.

FYI to all master racer's in the market for a new case, the standard black Fractal Define R4 is $79.99 shipped free on newegg if you use promo code EMCXSVP52

Not a bad price for a decent ssd!

Looks like I'm getting a 6950 for my budget build (6950 is actually a great card, performance around 7850)

I picked up BF3 and tried it out. Holyyyy shitttt. The amazing graphics and high framerate make this game fun as hell. Never got into it on console but on the PC it just seems like a lot more crazier shite is happening. PC master race

It'll be my LAN/Mobile/Build to use while I'm staying at my parents.

Here's my full list of parts I have so far:

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 955 BE 3.2ghz
Cooler: Corsair H60 Liquid Cooler
Mobo: ASUS M4A88T-V EVO/USB3
RAM: 2x2gb DDR3 1333
HDD: 1tb WD Green
Video Card: Sapphire 6950 ref. card
PSU: Antec ea-500d 500w bronze non-modular
Case: Fractal Design Core 3000

Dropped $110 for the cpu/mobo, traded my backup SSD for the psu/hdd, trading my triple monitor stand for the 6950, traded some cables and adapter for the RAM, bought the H60 for $30, and the Core 300 for $35.01

I HATE the non-modular PSU, so I'm trying to trade/buy a semi one, and I'm trying to find a cheap small SSD for a boot drive. Maybe get another set of 2x2gb ram for fun
