Yea man. Open PCB on the video card and all. I am about to test it out though.

I unwrapped them and threw them in anti static bags as soon as I saw that.

Well, luckily the video card is fine and I am using it now.

About to plug the HDD into my drive dock to try it out.

Seriously? That sucks. Maybe something damaged it while it's been sitting up collecting dust. Could you stick it in the mail and send it back? I want to look at it again just for shits and giggles. I'll refund you when I get home late tonight. Sorry bout that.

Blue, you haven't had any issues with the modules i sold you, right?

Yea I will ship it back to you Monday but before I do I will fool with it a little more to make sure. I will try to pinpoint which stick it is.

This is the ram I got from Poncho. I should be able to mix one stick of it with one of yours at a time to see which one is defective? Same timings on them and everything.

Just checked out the HDD and it is working. Luckily your tin foil wrap job didn't cause any static or conduct anything to damage the parts.

You might bot want to take that risk in the future though.

HOLY SHITTT

Wow.. lol luckily we are in the "moister" time of the year. If you would have shipped during Fall/Winter dry air, the outcome could have been different.

Just paid off for Rome TW 2. Now it's on the finding the right tower. I'm not looking to build anything however, just buy off the shelf. I like the HP Envy 700 for $729.

Here's the recommended specs for the game:
OS: Windows 7 / Windows 8
Processor:2nd Generation Intel Core i5 processor (or greater)
Memory: 4GB RAM
Graphics:1024 MB DirectX 11 compatible graphics card.
DirectX®:11
Hard Drive:35 GB HD space
Screen Resolution: 1920x1080

And here is the Envy system specs:
4th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-4430 processor
Features a 6MB cache and 3.0GHz processor speed.
12GB PC3-12800 DDR3 SDRAM
For multitasking power, expandable to 32GB.
Multiformat DVD±RW/CD-RW drive with double-layer support
Records up to 8.5GB of data or 4 hours of video using compatible DVD+R DL and DVD-R DL media; also supports DVD-RAM.
2TB Serial ATA hard drive (7200 rpm)
Intel® HD Graphics 4600
Feature up to 1792MB total available video memory
Microsoft Windows 8

Everything matches up although I'm not sold completely on the graphics card. Not worried about screen resolution as I plan to hook tower up to my flat screen. Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
