im going through my backlog of games and finally putting the time in to give the witcher 2 a chance. it's really picking up once you start to actually understand how to use all the aspects together in combat. anyone looking to play the witcher 3 should give it a chance, graphics arent even outdated yet.

God I really wish I could play the main story. I started back two hours from where my game hit that breaking bug in the Pyres of Novigrad quest and just did a bunch of side missions and explored. I'm getting tired of doing things that only give me 10-20 exp.

I am loving this game so far and I'm only in velen. I have never played a witcher game and I'm not sure why now.

I am wondering if the DLC armor scales with level, I bought it right before I did the final series on my first play through and it was awesome, I just bought it at level 4 on my 2nd play and we will see if it scales, if now that will suck.

We need a storage option somewhere. I am having to carry multiple sets of armor. I wear whichever one is currently the best I can wear, but I can't get rid of the others because they will be next on the upgrade path. So I went Feline - Ursine - Enhanced Feline - Enhanced Ursine... etc

Apparently, according to some tips thread/article I read, you can leave your shite somewhere specific and it won't go away -- unlike Skyrim, where you need to leave stuff in your home or else it'll disappear, because the game is designed to reset the world every so often to eliminate clutter, dead bodies, etc. I haven't done this yet, because I've not found much of a reason to keep all the shitty swords and maces I loot, and those are among the heavier items. My Skyrim mentality has me hoarding as many crafting components as possible though, even though I have no idea what they're going to be used for. I'm afraid I'll regret selling it 30 hours later in the game.

Also, is 130 the max carry weight you can get in the game?

Dunno about the carry weight, I have never needed more than that. I wish this game had housing though.

It sucks, doesn't scale so save your coin until you are near endgame.

Anyone know how to view your Gwent cards without playing the game?

Yeah, just hit pause and there should be a gwent deck choice on the screen, can change all your decks around there.

PC, I don't know that there is a "pause" button. ---edit--- found it, it's the main menu.

Is there any use in looting on Ciri seems uselss?

Minor side story spoiler below, if you know who Johnny is then you can read, if not then don't.

You see him and thing "poor homely little godling lost his voice, then he get his voice and it's like HOLY shite!

I beat the game earlier today and I'm already having withdrawals. What a great game. One of the best I've ever played. Can't wait for Witcher 4. I'll be first in line to preorder.
